Considering at some point in their lives they were among probably the most athletic people in the world, it seems like even the intense workouts of the
reality show could be nothing compared to a coach yelling during preseason workouts. But the former athletes who meizitang new spoke to For The Win unanimously said it was
much tougher. The isolation, they said, was also difficult.
"Being away from my family, this is the hard part," said Hayden, that has two kids. "Those two kids are the world to me and never seeing them [is difficult].
"I'm not likely to lie, the workouts are a beast especially since i have haven't done anything in four years."
Garrison, an old tennis star who coaches Taylor Townsend, needed to step away throughout the US Open.
"One from the toughest things ended up being to visit Taylor who her game was beginning to move and [say] 'I have to take a while off,'" she said. "And she
said 'you've reached get it done for yourself.'"
However for former athletes, like Woody, who designed a fair amount of money playing and now in his post-retirement job, appearing on the program begs the
question: Why can you do that in front of millions of people?
For Mitchell, the invitation to appear on the program came soon after his father who struggled with his own weight problems passed away and appeared like a
divine intervention.
"I saw the ghost of Christmas future and I required to get help," he explained. "My family was very excited about me doing this I knew that I would probably
try taking some ridicule but it was lida daidaihua original about living my entire life healthy and never dying."
For Woody, he explained it had been just giving up a little slice of his life to savor the remainder of it.
"I figured you know what I have a story to tell and I figured this would be the easiest method to not only get myself right in dealing with stuff that may be
uncomfortable that i can cope with but also you know just put my story available and if that helps someone else on the way that's all I'm searching for."
